SEALAB​

SEALAB was born out of interest to design with time and quality and reflect on the social and cultural implications of Architecture. Currently, SEALAB is based in Ahmedabad, India.

Anand Sonecha (b.1986) is an architect and founder of SEALAB. Before establishing the architecture practice, he worked in India with Professor Balkrishna Doshi and Rajeev Kathpalia and in Portugal with Alvaro Siza and Carlos Castanheira. Recently, he has designed projects as the Jai Jagat theatre at the historic Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, Community housing at Vastral, Ahmedabad, and School for the blind and visually impaired children, Gandhinagar. Jai Jagat Theatre at Sabarmati Ashram was published in Casabella with an essay “The effect of proportional measurement” by Alvaro Siza.
